Dirtfest 2010 Benefiting Golfers Against Cancer
County Line BBQ on Lake Conroe. Live music from 3p-Midnight. Appearances by: Heather Nelson, PJ and Steven from Hyred Guns, BJ Mizwell, Matt Rawls, David Eason and Dr. Velvet. Full Band perfomances from: Amy Hughes and the Dirty 7, Stacie's Edge and Dirt and Diesel. Golfers Against Cancer is raising money for Cancer Treatment and research. Golfers Against Cancer will go to hospitals and personally write a check, with the majority of the proceeds staying in the Houston area.

Texas Renaissance Festival Annual 2010 Job Faire
Hundreds of Seasonal Employees are needed for the eight weekends of the 36th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival. Festival Vendors will be onsite to conduct job interviews for a variety of positions. Experience in these positions is helpful, but not required for consideration. Must bring a photo I.D. FM 1774, between Magnolia and Plantersville. Starts at 9am. Be prepared to stay approzimately 2-4 hours. This is an outdoor event, dress appropriately.

Lucky 7 Racing and Gator Motorplex will be offering Discount Tickets to fans that Bring 4 Canned goods to the track on Aug 21st, or to one of the "Fill the Car" locations around Conroe. Libby Benefit
Benefit for Judson Libby, father of Jane 16 and Morgan 19, at Spurs Dance Hall on 10310 FM 1488 from 1p-630p. He is too sick to work and has lost his insurance. Judd has a liver disease and needs a liver transplant. This is not due to drugs or alcohol. He is 52 years old and would be the excellent candidate for a new liver because his body is healthy and strong. Live and silent auction, BBQ, Cassidy Hurst.
