Tribute to Texas @ Bernhardt Winery
Texas Country Singer Kevin Black, Montgomery Freelance Photographer Dave Clements, and Conroe Sculptor Craig Campobella have all teamed up with local Winemaker Jerry Bernhardt for a 'Tribute To Texas' Weekend at the Bernhardt Winery, Saturday & Sunday, June 30th-July 1st, 2007 in Plantersville, Texas.
We have all joined together to pay tribute to our fine State of Texas, and it's music, just days before celebrating our country's freedom on July 4th. Also, our hope is to raise money for the International Rett Syndrome Association. Sadly, according to Bernhardt, Black, older brother of country music star Clint Black, lost his 16 year old daughter, Cortney, to the neurological disorder, Rett Syndrome, over 3 years ago.
Although the weekend is free to view the art there will be a $5.00 cover charge for the concert. Bring out your lawn chairs or blankets, buy a plate of BBQ if you get hungry, kick back and enjoy the show! Black will be spotlighting many of the singers whose photographs will be displayed during the two day event (starting each day at noon). Find out more here.
