State Fair of Texas
The State Fair takes place in Fair Park. It is a 277-acre city park that is just two miles east of downtown Dallas. General admission is $14.00, and most of the shows and attractions are free once you get inside. Seniors (60 & over) and children ages 3 up to 48-inches-tall pay only $10.00. Admission tickets may be purchased online at bigtex.com beginning Aug. 1. If you are near a Kroger store during the months of September and October, just step up to a checkout and buy a discounted general admission ticket in advance for $12.50. 10 Hour Course teaching hunting safety skills and responsibility. Upon Course completion, the certification card is good for life and is honored by 48 states, and 10 Canadian Provinces that require hunter education. 4th Annual Tee it Up For Rett Syndrome Golf Tournametn
The 1pm shotgun scramble fundraiser will be held at the Bentwater Country Club in Montgomery, on the Miller Course. The cost of the event is $99 per player and they are limiting the field to the first 100 golfers who send in their checks. The fee will cover the cost of golf, cart and range balls.
